Bats - Full Program

Series: Creature Features

Bats are the only mammals that can fly. They live in caves and hang upside-down. Copper-winged bats are only 2 inches long and are an endangered species. Bats have poor eyesight and use ultrasound to communicate and navigate. They are nocturnal and solitary. Many hibernate through the winter. Newborn bats have little fur and drink milk from their mothers.
