Series: Underwater Creature Feature

Salmon swim many miles to reach the ocean, then swim all the way back home to spawn. During spawning, they do not eat, they are vulnerable to predators, and they have to work hard to swim upstream. After mating, they lay up to 3000 eggs. The eggs hatch after 60 days.
