Behind the Color Wheel: Using Color in Art and Design - Full Program

Color is how your brain interprets different wavelengths of light. Objects appear to have color because they absorb some wavelengths and reflect others. To create new colors, add value or intensity to a hue. A color scheme combines two or more colors to create a visual experience. Artists and designers often use color rules as well as monochromatic, analogous, triadic and complementary schemes.
