The Nationalists - Full Program

During the 19th century, much of Europe transformed from a mishmash of city-states and feudal states into a handful of nations, exemplified by Greece and Germany. At the same time, the British, Austro-Hungarian, Ottoman, and Russian empires would struggle to suppress nationalist independence movements within their borders. Nationalism, combined with a web of international alliances, would eventually lead to World War I.
