Ivan, The Remarkable True Story of the Shopping Mall Gorilla

Ivan was born a free gorilla, but he was captured and shipped to the United States while he was still a baby. He was treated as an entertaining pet--until he grew too big to live in a human home. For 27 years, Ivan lived alone in a cage at a shopping mall. When people began to protest Ivan's treatment, he was moved to the Atlanta zoo, where he could again live with other gorillas.
