In 1973, President Richard Nixon announced the agreement to end the war in Vietnam and U.S. troops began withdrawing. His resignation in 1974 encouraged the North Vietnamese to fight and leaders launched a massive invasion into South Vietnam. Ambassador Graham Martin finally agreed to the evacuation of Saigon on April 29, 1975. Content may not be suitable for all audiences.
